Touchstones, 2019

Touchstones was a three part community engaged artwork as part of Scape 2019. It began with inviting a variety of communities and school students to come together to learn a simple crafting technique for making a four stringed braided rope. The finished rope was a repository for conversations and memories shared and became a public installation as well as part of a performance and video. Over 400 people contributed to the project.
