With over a decade’s experience in freelance event and exhibition curation and production, I’m passionate about working with individuals and communties to create unique and engaging arts focussed events.
I began as a grassroots arts leader in a post-disaster context in Christchurch, New Zealand, where I helped rebuild communities through the arts, fostering healing, unity, and transformation. As my career has developed, I’ve worked alongside a range of organisations as a public programmes and engagement producer as well as a freelance curator.
I love working in a range of scales and environments.
If you do a deep dive in my CV, you’ll see that I’ve run events in galleries, shops, pubs, vacant lots, museums, classrooms and warehouses. This makes me just as at home producing events at festivals in fields, pop ups in vacant shops, panel discussions in auditoriums and ambitious exhibitons both inside and out of galleries.
Although my organisation and budget management skills are top notch, my ability to foster environments where both artists and audiences feel welcome and supported is the element most celebrated by my colleagues and collaborators.
As a freelance artist and curator, I’m always open to new projects and collaborations.
Opportunities with funding often get priority, but if you have a project that you think might benefit from my skillset, please do get in touch.
