Audrey Baldwin is a Zimbabwean born, Aotearoa New Zealand raised artist, curator, and event producer.
She is currently based in Oxford in the United Kingdom.
She graduated from Ilam School of Fine Arts, University of Canterbury in 2009 and has shown in galleries around New Zealand as well as in Japan, India, Zimbabwe, Australia, and the UK.
Audrey works in a range of scales; from intimate one on one performances to large scale public art events. She has worked with both grass roots and community led organisations as well as institutions.
Her practice has operated in a wide range of spaces from post-disaster gravel strewn vacant lots to white walled gallery spaces, pop ups in shops, pubs and museums to art and literary festivals indoors and out.

Her practice has operated in a wide range of spaces from post-disaster gravel strewn vacant lots to white walled gallery spaces, pop ups in shops, pubs and museums to art and literary festivals indoors and out.
Her work often veers into the absurd: sometimes confrontational, increasingly playful, and defiantly hopeful in the face of rising fascism in late-stage capitalism.
Audrey works as a freelance curator, producer and events coordinator. Do you have an exhibition, project or event that needs a creative, energetic and passionate problem solver? Get in touch!
